Nine high school seniors in Philadelphia have developed a curriculum called Project FACTS to combat misinformation and disinformation, particularly concerning AI-generated content and vaccine falsehoods. The initiative aims to equip students with critical thinking skills to analyze and question online information before sharing it. The program has been integrated into school lessons and has shown positive results in fostering media literacy among students.
