Governor Kathy Hochul has appointed Judge David Fried to the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct. The commission is responsible for investigating and disciplining judges accused of misconduct. Fried, who has served on the Court of Claims and as an acting justice in Rockland County, brings extensive judicial and political experience to the watchdog role.
